Ethos “Do Not Call” Policy
Ethos Technologies Inc. and its affiliates (collectively, “Ethos”) do not place telemarketing calls or text messages to numbers appearing on state or federal Do Not Call lists (unless permitted by applicable law) or to the number of a person who has requested not to receive telemarketing calls or text messages made by or on behalf of Ethos.
If you request not to receive telemarketing calls or text messages from us, your name (if provided) and telephone number will be placed on our internally-maintained Do Not Call list and you will not be called or texted during future telemarketing campaigns conducted by or on behalf of Ethos within the next five years (or any longer period required by applicable law). Any request to be placed on our internally-maintained Do Not Call list will be processed within a reasonable time from the date that the request is made, not to exceed 10 business days days (or any shorter period required by applicable law) after receipt of the request. The inclusion of your number on Ethos’ Do Not Call list restricts telemarketing calls and text messages only. Where permitted by applicable law, we may still contact you for informational purposes.
You may submit your request not to receive telemarketing calls or text messages to us through https://privacy.ethoslife.com/policies, by emailing [email protected], or through any other reasonable means under applicable law. Please include your name and all telephone numbers you want to be included. If your information changes or you wish to add additional telephone numbers, you must notify us as soon as possible.
Ethos employees involved in our telemarketing operations receive training on how to use our internally-maintained Do Not Call list; how to document, process and honor requests to be placed on our internally-maintained Do Not Call list; and proper identification during telemarketing calls. Ethos requires any third-party that initiates telemarketing calls on our behalf to comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. Contracted independent agents are not Ethos employees and are solely responsible for compliance with federal and state “Do Not Call” laws.
